Ooma Office Pro worked well

So happy with my new Ooma system!

I just got the Ooma Telo and an Ooma HD3 Handset, and I love it! The package arrived super fast, like in three days, which was awesome. Setting everything up was surprisingly easy, even for me. Ooma Office is solid for small businesses, totally handles 5-6 people fine. I'd say it's more budget-friendly than RingCentral too, especially for basic stuff.

Depends on what features you need. Ooma Office Pro has a lot of good stuff for a small team, but if you're really heavy into video conferencing and super advanced integrations, maybe RingCentral is better. For standard VoIP, Ooma is a strong contender.

Nah, it's pretty much free for the basic service, but you still pay taxes and regulatory fees. They're usually just a few bucks a month, depends on your state.

I think they even waive the porting fee sometimes with certain deals, so keep an eye out for that. Otherwise, there's usually a small one-time charge.

Does the Ooma Telo work if my internet goes out? Or during a power outage?

If your internet goes out, Ooma won't work because it needs the internet. Same for a power outage, unless you have a battery backup for your modem/router AND the Telo.

Yeah, it's an internet phone, so no internet, no calls. You can get a battery backup for the Telo, and some people have an LTE adapter for backup internet, but that's extra.
